The
graphic was such hit in the local community and such a promotional
success, I developed another Uncle Sam for local use promoting the
summertime Crested Butte Arts Festival.

One
or our most favorite campaigns - used both online and offline -
was our pre-911 Uncle Sam.
Modified
from the famous original recruiting poster by James Montgomery
Flagg,
Uncle Sam showed up on the CBMR website and in newspapers and ski
shows throughout the U.S. offering the hottest deals on season passes
and "mountain cards" for the resort...

The
natural splendor of the Crested Butte area offered unlimited opportunities
to create beautiful graphics for a wide variety of needs.
For example, this banner was the perfect representation of the natural
area preserved and protected by the resort. This linked to a press
release and articles describing the company's commitment and the
award.

The
sharp contrasts of the changing seasons on an unchanging peak
just begged to be used for cross-seasonal promotions:

Turning
the peak into a volcano
made an excellent backdrop for an April Fools promotion.

Seth
does a "Lincoln Loop" in the 10th Annual Extreme Freeskiing
Championships... I do a promo banner. I think I did the easy
part!
